Eyebrows coloring

Procedure:

Depending on the eyebrow product, the color gel is applied first, followed by the developer gel, or the color is mixed together with the developer. Usually the color is mixed with the developer and applied with a brush or stick in the direction of growth. It is very important that the instructions of the manufacturer must be followed and you apply the eyebrow color also in the direction of growth. You should make sure that you dye the front third only at the end. Of course this third is lighter. Tinting the eyebrows is not so difficult. You should be careful with the color selection. Pay attention to your hairline. If you fluctuate between two colors to tint the eyebrows, you better choose the lighter shade. Lighter can be tinted darker. But if you have chosen the darker shade, it will be more difficult. Use a cream or vaseline that is greasy. Apply the cream around your eyebrows to prevent the skin from discoloring. It is important to leave out the eyebrow completely. Hair that has been covered with Vaseline can not absorb the color properly.

The eyebrow color should be wiped off after a few minutes with a damp absorbent cotton pad. With damp absorbent cotton pads wipe a few times. Remaining stains on the skin can be removed with some color stain remover on a absorbent cotton pad. The more intensive you want the result, the longer you can let the color work in.

Depending on the manufacturer, some have to be wiped off earlier and others later. Follow the instructions in the package insert.

Eyelashes

Which developer do you need?

First we want to give you an understanding of what a developer is. What is a developer called. Developer, oxidant or emulsion are the terms that come to mind when talking about developers. However, when you talk about hair color, most often hydrogen peroxide is meant.

What actually happens when you use a developer

The developer removes the existing color pigments. Only after the developer has removed the color pigments can the new hair color be attached.

Concentration with one developer

The developers have different concentrations. The higher the concentration of a developer, the lighter the hair becomes. The concentrations in the developer vary from 1.9% - 12%. The gray hair they can cover with oxitadive hair colors up to 100%. Hair color or bleach mixed with an oxidizing agent of 9%-12% concentration should not get on the scalp when dyeing or lightening, as this can cause skin irritation.
